Outraged Angela Okarie Tells People To Get A Job

Angela Okorie has posted a video on her Instagram ranting about her outrage over people using her name on Facebook to defraud others and collect money and gifts from them.

In her short video, she stated that she is not on Facebook and is tired of people phoning her to tell her that they have sent her money and gifts via Facebook. Angela then goes on to say that things are tough and jobs are not easy to come by but this is not an avenue to defraud people of their hard earned money. Angela then states that she is not on Facebook and that Thunder should strike down anyone using her name on Facebook to collect money.

Osita Iheme Has More Money Than Sense

Osita Iheme, popularly know as Paw Paw has recently posted a photo on his Instagram of a road sign showing a road that has been named after him in his hometown in Abia State.

The caption reads;

‘Ala Owerri, welcomes you to Osita Iheme crescent, don’t miss road’

What an achievement? Well not really. Wouldn't his money, or better yet, his status be better put to use in helping his hometown to develop? Helping those that are less fortunate than him? Apparently not. Enjoy your road Osita!

Chris Brown Rants On Instagram While Standing Off With Police- Is He High or Possessed?

Police were called by Bailey Curran, a beauty queen, on Tuesday 30th August, who claimed that the singer, Chris Brown, pointed a gun to her face.

When police arrived, Chris Brown refused to let them in and there was a stand off with police until they gained a judges warrant to allow them to enter his property. 

Bailey Curran told the LA Times that she and a friend were admiring a diamond necklace that one of Chris Brown's friend was wearing, when the man became agitated and told her to back off. This is when Chris Brown pulled a gun out and pointed it to her face, telling her to get out. 

While standing off with police, Chris brown posted videos on Instagram ranting about how he is a father and one of the best entertainers around while holding a lit cigarette in his hand. Seriously, his slurred speech and ranting made him look seriously high or possessed! He also ranted about the world ending - well if the youth of today have him to look up to then the world will surely end. 

Chris Brown's lawyer later posted a tweet stating that Chris Brown was released from custody and that the allegations against him are false. Honestly money can get you out of everything!

Chris Brown's violent outbursts are nothing new to the media and he is reported to have several convictions including the assault on Rihanna in 2009.

Kim Kardashsian West flashed what God gave her (or rather, plastic surgeons) in a completely sheer black dress leaving nothing to the imagination.

Drake donned a smart black suit and bow tie at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) as he presented Rihanna with the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award but used this opportunity to declare his love for Rihanna, telling the audience that he has loved her ever since he met her 11 years ago when he was 21.

Beyonce made an entrance with a bang at last night's MTV VMAs rocking a Francesco Scognamiglio gown covered with feathers and crystals.

As if the duos appearance wasn't enough, they also walked the red carpet with an entourage of Lemonade beauties including Beyonce's proteges, Hale and Chloe Bailey,  the model Winnie Harlow and  the mothers of Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin who were tragically killed by police in the US.

Jazzman Olofin Is Back But For How Long?

The veteran Nigerian singer, Jazzman Olofin has announced that he is back after a long time on the down low. Many of his fans have tweeted that his career is dead, but the response from the great Jazzman himself  is that he does not read his hater's comments.

To prove that his career is not down and out he has recently released a new hit single called 'Shade' which is produced by Ebenjazz.

Jazzman told Punch, in a recent interview that everyone is entitled to their own comments but he does not read negative ones. He also said that people who post these negative comments and say that his career is dead are the people who do not believe in themselves, must have dead careers themselves and are having a messed up life.

But many of his fans are questioning how long is he going to be around before he disappears from the scene again, after all the same thing happened last year.

Well I am glad that he is back because his new hit single is definitely a hit and the Nigerian music scenes needs the Jazzman.

As for his haters, keep hating because the Jazzman is back!

Senator Oduah Grieves The Death Of Her Son

The nation woke up to some sad news today that the controversial Senator Stella Oduah, who represents Anambra North Senatorial District, lost her son of 28 years. Reports state that her son died yesterday, Friday 26th August 2016 to what is being called a brief illness in an Abuja hospital.

Senator Uche Ekwunife, who is one of Senator Stella Oduah's colleagues confirmed that she was consoling the senator after hearing the "unfortunate news."

A Lonely Life for Nigerians abroad - Kemi's Story

We have all been there. Struggling in Nigeria dreaming of a better life abroad where we imagine living in a state of utopia. But the sad truth is our dream is misguided and very far from the truth. Don't get me wrong, if your dad is a politician then you will have the very best of what is to offer abroad but sadly many of us who have struggled to leave Nigeria, struggle even more abroad.

This is a story about Kemi who left Nigeria in 2011 and traveled to London on a student visa. He left Nigeria thinking about all the money that he was going to make abroad and being a millionaire over night. Kemi did not know what was in store for him.

Five years later, his student visa has run out and he is constantly worried about authorities finding him and deporting him. He is always running when he sees uniformed police at a station and his heart drops into his stomach when he sees police cars passing from his road. Imagine not being able to go out without looking over your shoulder and worrying about being sent back home. He still lives in one tiny room that is only big enough for his bed and clothes and he has to share a toilet, bathroom and kitchen with 8 people who live in the same house.

As for the millions that he thought he was going to make, he barely makes enough money to pay for his rent, transport to work, food shopping and the little money that he sends back home for his mum and dad. Kemi's work situation is no better. He has two jobs which he does 7 days a week. His first job is for a cleaning company where he starts cleaning offices at 4.00 am in the morning. As soon as he finishes this job at 8.00 am, he runs to his next job as a kitchen porter, washing dishes and cutlery until 1.00 pm. He goes back home when he finishes his jobs and sits on his bed watching TV because he has no friends and family around him. Kemi is completely on his own and without papers his life can not improve.

Unfortunately this is a story that many Africans who live abroad can relate to. The ones that work hard continue to work hard and sometimes their luck changes. Others who are lazy find themselves being homeless, taking buses half way around London every night so that they can sleep and eventually end up going back home, living in the village because they are unable to face the disappointment and shame of coming home empty handed.

Life abroad is not easy at all!

Breaking News: Car Bomb in Turkey claims the lives of 8 police officers

Sky News has reported that a car bomb has exploded in Cizre Turkey killing 8 police officers and injuring many other people.

The terrorist group Kurdistan Worker's Party (PKK) are responsible for the act using a truck full of explosives.

Cizre, which is close to the Syrian and Iraqi boarders, has been the centre of destruction and fighting as the Turkish military and Kurdish elements exchange blows.

Shocking News: Is DJ Cuppy addicted to life or drugs?

Famous Nigerian DJ and daughter of the wealthy business man Femi Adetola, DJ Cuppy, has posted a picture on her instagram account of what appears to be shelves full of pharmaceutical drugs. What makes it worse is her caption reading "Can't live without my pills."

Maybe DJ Cuppy is not as Godly as she later claims to be on another Instagram post.

But don't worry. DJ Cuppy seems to be addicted to life rather than drugs as at a closer look at the picture, the pill bottles read positive messages "you are upstanding....you are racy."

Nigerian Man Chased Out of Malta

Nigerian born Micahel Ajibode, aged 40, who has lived in Malta for 11 years, has been denied permanent residency. Michael's fate began when he immigrated to Libya where he taught English and later became a security guard in a hotel.

Here he met a Maltese lady who was a missionary and the couple later moved to Malta after getting married in 2003. Unfrotunatley, Micahel's bad luck began as only two months before he was entitled to file for citizenship, his wife filed for a seperation, claiming that he was abusing her.

Micahel has been fighting in court to stay in Malta but he has a lot riding against him as he has also been summoned to court for apparently stealing money from his previous employer.

Many people flocked to social media to give their opinion on the matter with many Maltese citizens agreeing that he should be deported back to Nigeria, while Non-Maltese citizens claim that he should get citizenship based on the fact that he paid taxes in Malta and lived there for so long.
